Moonshot Collect Terms
Moonshot Collect Terms
Last Updated: October 18, 2026
These Moonshot Collect Terms (these “Collect Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Collect Service through the Moonshot App and Website. They are Supplemental Terms under the Moonshot Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”), and together with the Terms of Use they form a binding agreement between you and Buy Moonshots, Inc. (“Moonshot,” “we,” or “us”).
BY TAPPING “I AGREE,” OR BY PURCHASING, OPENING OR RECEIVING ANY PACK, YOU AGREE TO THESE COLLECT TERMS AND THE TERMS OF USE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE COLLECT SERVICE.
PACK OPENINGS ARE RANDOM. MOST PULLS ARE WORTH LESS THAN THE PACK PRICE. INSTANT BUYBACK SETS A FLOOR ON WHAT YOU CAN RECOVER, NOT A PROFIT. ONLY SPEND WHAT YOU ARE COMFORTABLE LOSING. THE CLAW ANIMATION IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY AND DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR RESULT.
1. About These Collect Terms
1.1 Order of precedence. If these Collect Terms conflict with the Terms of Use, these Collect Terms control as to the Collect Service. In all other respects, the Terms of Use control.
1.2 Collectibles are not Digital Assets. The Collect Service is separate from the Digital Asset and Memecoin features of the Services. Collectibles are physical goods. Collectible Tokens only record ownership of Collectibles. For purposes of the Terms of Use, neither a Collectible nor a Collectible Token is a “Digital Asset” or a “Memecoin,” and the provisions of the Terms of Use that apply only to Digital Assets or Memecoins do not apply to them. Moonshot makes the Collect Service available through the Services and may describe, feature or promote it. However, Moonshot does not sell, source, authenticate, grade, vault, insure, buy back, redeem or ship any Pack or Collectible, does not issue any Collectible Token, and does not hold custody of any of them.
1.3 Provider Terms. Your purchase of Packs, and your rights in Collectibles and Collectible Tokens, are also subject to the Provider Terms. Where the Provider Terms govern the Provider’s obligations to you, the Provider (not Moonshot) is responsible for performing them. Collector Crypt’s terms are available on its website at https://collectorcrypt.com/terms-of-service.
1.4 Changes. We may change these Collect Terms as described in the Terms of Use. We may change the Collect Service, the Packs available, and their prices, odds and buyback rates at any time. Any change to odds or buyback rates applies only to Packs opened after the change is displayed.
2. Definitions
- “Buyback Window” means the period after a Pull during which Instant Buyback is available for that Collectible (currently three (3) days from the Pull), as displayed in the Collect Service.
- “Collectible” means the real, physical item you may elect to receive through a Pull, such as a trading card, watch or other physical collectible. Each Pack’s page in the Collect Service describes the kinds of Collectibles it may contain, and the kinds offered may change over time as Packs are added or retired. A Collectible is held in a Vault until you redeem it.
- “Collectible Token” means the token on the Solana blockchain, issued by or on behalf of a Provider, that records ownership of one specific Collectible. Holding it is how you hold, and transfer, your claim to that Collectible. A Collectible Token has no function apart from the Collectible it records.
- “Collect Service” means the pack-opening service a Provider operates and that Moonshot makes available through the Services. It includes Packs, Pulls, Instant Buyback, storage, Redemption and related features, whatever name the feature has in the App.
- “Insured Value” means the reference value a Provider assigns to a Collectible and uses to calculate Instant Buyback.
- “Instant Buyback” means the Provider’s offer to buy a Collectible back, for USDC, from the Wallet that pulled it, during the Buyback Window.
- “Jupiter” means Block Raccoon S.A. and its affiliates. Jupiter makes the Collect Service available to Moonshot through its Collect API.
- “Marketplace” means the peer-to-peer marketplace for Collectibles that a Provider operates on its own website, outside the Moonshot App. Moonshot does not operate a Marketplace.
- “Odds” means the probability of a Pull falling in each rarity tier of a Pack, as displayed before purchase.
- “Pack” means a digital pack that you buy and that, when opened, delivers one Collectible selected at random, together with the Collectible Token that records your ownership of it.
- “Provider” means the third party that operates the Collect Service for a given Pack. For Collector Crypt Packs, that is Collector Crypt Corp. (“Collector Crypt”).
- “Provider Terms” means the terms of service and policies of the applicable Provider that govern the Collect Service. For Collector Crypt Packs, these are available on Collector Crypt’s website at https://collectorcrypt.com/terms-of-service.
- “Pull” means the Collectible you receive when you open a Pack.
- “Redemption” means having your Collectible shipped to you from the Vault.
- “Vault” means the professional storage facility where a Provider or its vaulting partner holds Collectibles, as identified in the Collect Service.
3. The Collect Service and Who Does What
3.1 What the Collect Service is. You can use the Collect Service to buy and open Packs. Each Pack delivers one real, physical Collectible selected at random, of the kind described on that Pack’s page, held for you in a Vault. You also receive a Collectible Token that records your ownership. You can then keep the Collectible in the Vault, sell it back through Instant Buyback during the Buyback Window, or have it shipped to you.
3.2 Provider responsibilities. The Provider is the seller of each Pack and the issuer of each Collectible Token. As between you and Moonshot, the Provider (directly or through Jupiter and its vendors) is solely responsible for:
- sourcing, authenticating, grading, vaulting and insuring Collectibles;
- the contents of each Pack, and the accuracy of the Odds, rarity tiers, Insured Values and other Pack information it supplies;
- the design, fairness and operation of the randomness mechanism that determines Pulls;
- minting, transferring and burning Collectible Tokens;
- honoring Instant Buyback, operating any Marketplace, and completing Redemption and shipping; and
- support for orders, Instant Buyback, Redemption and shipping.
3.3 Moonshot’s responsibilities. Moonshot provides the interface you use to access the Collect Service. That includes the in-app presentation, the claw-machine animation, and the display of information the Provider supplies. Moonshot routes your transactions to the Provider. Transactions are signed through your Wallet as described in the Terms of Use. Moonshot does not custody Collectible Tokens or Collectibles. Your Wallet is self-custodial and secured through Turnkey. Moonshot cannot sign transactions or move your Collectible Tokens for you, and does not select, or see in advance, the result of any Pull.
3.4 Information from Providers. Odds, Insured Values, Pack contents, buyback rates, fees and similar information are supplied by the Provider. Moonshot displays them as supplied and does not independently verify them.
3.5 Support. For help with the Collect Service, contact Moonshot support at support@moonshot.com. We will help where we can and may refer questions about Pulls, Instant Buyback, Redemption, shipping or Vault storage to Collector Crypt, which is responsible for resolving them.
4. Eligibility and Restricted Jurisdictions
4.1 Personal use. You may use the Collect Service only for your own personal, non-commercial collecting. You may not use bots, scripts or automated tools to buy or open Packs, or use the Collect Service on behalf of anyone else.
4.2 Your responsibility. Laws on randomized purchases, prizes and collectibles differ from place to place and may change. You are responsible for making sure your use of the Collect Service is lawful where you are. The Collect Service is void where prohibited.
4.3 Age. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use the Collect Service.
4.4 Restricted jurisdictions. You may not use the Collect Service from any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions (including those administered by OFAC), or from any jurisdiction listed as restricted in the Terms of Use or the Provider Terms. Some Packs or features may be unavailable in some jurisdictions. We may use location data and other information to enforce these restrictions. Redemption may not be available to every country.
5. Packs, Odds and Randomness
5.1 What you are buying. When you buy a Pack, you are buying a pack with random contents that delivers a real, physical Collectible, much like buying a sealed pack of collectibles. You are not placing a wager, and you are not buying a chance to win money. You always receive a Collectible, but its value may be far below what you paid.
5.2 Odds are shown before purchase. Before you buy, the Collect Service shows the Pack price, its rarity tiers and the Odds and range of Insured Values for each tier. For Collector Crypt Packs, the displayed Odds are fixed. They do not change as Collectibles leave the Pack’s pool. Odds are set per rarity tier (currently Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic), not per Collectible. If a Pack’s pool runs low, the Pack may be paused or marked unavailable until it is restocked. On most Packs, most Pulls fall in the lowest rarity tier and are worth less than the Pack price.
5.3 Expected value. Any “expected value” or similar figure is an estimate. It is calculated from Insured Values and recalculated as the pool changes. It is not a prediction, promise or guarantee of what any single Pull, or any number of Pulls, will be worth.
5.4 How Pulls are determined. Each Pull is determined by the Provider’s randomness mechanism. Moonshot does not operate, control or see that mechanism, and does not select or influence any Pull. A random draw does not mean that opening Packs will be profitable.
5.5 The claw and other animations are for entertainment only. The claw-machine animation, and any similar visual in the Collect Service, is purely cosmetic. Your Pull is determined by the randomness mechanism described in Section 5.4, independently of the animation. The animation involves no skill, and nothing you do during it (including timing, taps or gestures) affects the result. The animation always shows the claw grabbing a ball; this does not indicate the value of your Pull.
5.6 Purchases are final. Once a Pack purchase transaction is confirmed on-chain, it is final. Except as required by law, Packs are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or exchanged. If a purchase transaction fails to confirm, no Pack is opened and you are not charged the Pack price, although Solana network fees may not be recoverable.
5.7 Limits and availability. Packs, Collectibles and pools are limited. They may sell out or be withdrawn at any time. We or the Provider may set purchase limits and may decline any purchase.
5.8 Top Wins and featured Pulls. The Collect Service may show recent or featured Pulls (such as a “Top Wins” feed) and a Pack’s maximum possible value. These show selected real results, are not typical, and do not change the Odds or predict your result.
6. Collectibles and Collectible Tokens
6.1 What you own. When you pull a Collectible, you own that specific physical item, subject to the Provider Terms. Its identifying details, such as any grading or authentication information, its Vault and (where available) its Vault ID, are shown on its page in the Collect Service. The Collectible Token in your Wallet is the record of that ownership. Whoever holds the Collectible Token holds the right to keep the Collectible in the Vault, sell it or have it shipped. Where transfers are supported, transferring the Collectible Token transfers the Collectible.
6.2 Custody is with the Provider and its Vaults. The Collectible stays in the custody of the Provider or its vaulting partner until Redemption. Moonshot never holds custody of any Collectible. Your rights in the Collectible, and your remedies for its loss, damage or misdelivery, are against the Provider under the Provider Terms. They may be limited by the Vault’s terms and by applicable insurance.
6.3 Collectibles only; not an investment. Collectible Tokens and Collectibles are collectibles for personal enjoyment. They are not investment products. They carry no equity, debt, revenue-share or profit-sharing rights, and no right to any payment from Moonshot, Jupiter or a Provider (other than any Instant Buyback offer the Provider makes). Do not buy Packs expecting a profit from anyone’s efforts. The value of any Collectible can go down and may be lower than the Pack price.
6.4 Authenticity and condition. The Provider and its grading, authentication and vaulting partners are responsible for authenticity, any grading, and condition. Images and descriptions are for identification. Any grade or authentication is the opinion of the company that issued it and is not guaranteed by Moonshot.
6.5 Storage. You may keep a Collectible Token in your Wallet with the Collectible in the Vault for as long as the Provider offers storage. Collector Crypt currently charges no storage fee. The Provider may introduce fees, change Vaults or end storage in line with the Provider Terms.
7. Instant Buyback and Insured Value
7.1 Who makes the offer. Instant Buyback is an offer by the Provider, not Moonshot, to buy your Collectible from you for USDC. The Provider pays for Instant Buyback and is solely responsible for honoring it.
7.2 Amount. For Collector Crypt Packs, the Instant Buyback amount is a percentage of the Collectible’s Insured Value at the time of the Pull. That percentage is currently at least 85% and is shown before you buy. Proceeds are paid in USDC to your Wallet’s Cash balance, less Solana network fees. During the Buyback Window, the Collect Service displays a Collectible’s value as its Instant Buyback amount.
7.3 Window. Instant Buyback is available only during the Buyback Window, which is currently three (3) days from the Pull. The Buyback Window cannot be extended or reopened. When it closes, you keep the Collectible Token but lose the Instant Buyback offer. Each buyback quote may also expire within minutes if you do not complete the transaction. Instant Buyback is available only to the Wallet that made the Pull. Transferring the Collectible does not restart the Buyback Window and does not pass the offer to the recipient. Each sale requires your signature. Neither Moonshot nor the Provider will sell a Collectible for you automatically.
7.4 Insured Value is neither insurance nor a market price. Insured Value is not an insurance policy. It gives you no coverage for loss, theft or damage. It is also not a market price. What a Collectible will sell for on the Marketplace or elsewhere may be higher or lower. The Provider assigns and updates Insured Values; Moonshot does not.
7.5 Not guaranteed liquidity. Instant Buyback is a limited, time-bound offer. It is not a promise of liquidity or of any return. The Provider may suspend, change or discontinue Instant Buyback, for example during market disruptions, technical problems, suspected abuse or regulatory requirements. It may be unavailable in some jurisdictions. After the Buyback Window closes, the Collect Service may only let you keep or redeem the Collectible.
8. Redemption, Transfers and Outside Marketplaces
8.1 Marketplace. Moonshot does not offer an in-app Marketplace. A Provider may operate a Marketplace on its own website. If you move a Collectible Token there, you do so under the Provider Terms, the move is final, and Moonshot has no connection to or control over that Marketplace. Sellers set their own prices, which are independent of Insured Value, and the Provider may charge a seller fee (currently 2% for Collector Crypt).
8.2 Redemption. You may have your Collectible shipped to you from the Vault by following the steps in the Collect Service and paying the shipping fee shown. When you redeem:
- the Collectible Token is burned or otherwise permanently removed from your Wallet;
- the Collectible is no longer eligible for Instant Buyback or any Marketplace; and
- Redemption is final and cannot be reversed.
8.3 Shipping, customs and risk of loss. The Provider handles shipping from its Vaults. Delivery times are estimates. You are responsible for giving an accurate address and for any customs duties, import taxes and fees your country charges, which are not included in the shipping fee. The Provider may refuse to ship to certain addresses or countries. To ship, you must give your shipping address, phone number and email address. Jupiter and Collector Crypt may collect and store this information, and its use is governed by Jupiter’s Privacy Policy, available at https://developers.jup.ag/docs/legal/privacy-policy, and Collector Crypt’s Privacy Policy, available at https://collectorcrypt.com/privacy-policy. The Provider sends tracking by email. Once confirmed, a shipment cannot be cancelled or re-addressed through Moonshot.
8.4 Transfers. Gifting Packs or Collectibles is not currently available. Sending Collectible Tokens to another wallet may be limited or unavailable in the Collect Service. Where available, transfers sent to the wrong address cannot be recovered, a transfer does not pass on the Instant Buyback offer, and you are responsible for making sure the recipient is eligible under Section 4 and the Terms of Use.
8.5 Third-party marketplaces. If you list or sell a Collectible outside the Collect Service, you do so at your own risk under that platform’s terms. Lookalike marketplaces are a common scam. Moonshot is not responsible for any third-party marketplace.
9. Promotions and Prizes
9.1 Promotions. We, Jupiter or a Provider may offer free Packs, bonus Pulls, battle passes, leaderboards, competitions, cashback or other promotions (each a “Collect Promotion”). Each Collect Promotion is a Promotion under the Terms of Use. It is also subject to its own official rules (“Official Rules”), which will be posted with it. If the Official Rules conflict with these Collect Terms, the Official Rules control for that Collect Promotion.
9.2 Guaranteed or featured items. If a Collect Promotion describes a Pack as guaranteeing a particular tier or item (for example, a “grail”), the Official Rules will define that tier or item. The guarantee applies only as those rules describe.
9.3 Changes. We may change, suspend or end any Collect Promotion as allowed by its Official Rules and applicable law.
10. Fees, Payments, Refunds and Taxes
10.1 Price and fees. Packs are priced in U.S. dollars and paid in USDC from your Wallet’s Cash balance. You can add funds to your Cash balance using the methods we support, such as card, Apple Pay or bank transfer, under the Terms of Use. You pay the Pack price shown at checkout plus Solana network fees. Moonshot takes no additional fee. Marketplace shipping and other fees are shown before you confirm the relevant transaction. We or the Provider may change prices and fees at any time; changes do not affect transactions already confirmed.
10.2 Taxes. You are solely responsible for determining and paying any taxes on your Pack purchases, Pulls, Instant Buyback proceeds, Marketplace sales, Redemptions and prizes. Buying, selling or redeeming Collectibles may be a taxable event. Sales, use or import taxes may apply to Redemption. Collectibles may be taxed differently from other assets. We may collect, withhold or report information where required by law.
11. Risks You Accept
By using the Collect Service, you understand and accept the following risks, in addition to those in the Assumption of Risk section of the Terms of Use:
- You will likely lose money on most Pulls. Outcomes are random. Most Pulls are worth less than the Pack price, and Instant Buyback returns less than Insured Value.
- Values change. Insured Values, market prices and demand for Collectibles can fall quickly. They may be affected by authentication, grading, new releases, condition, trends or the Provider’s pricing.
- Provider and Vault risk. Your Collectible is held by third parties. If the Provider, a Vault, a grading company or an insurer fails, becomes insolvent, suffers a loss or stops operating, you could lose access to or value in your Collectible. You may have to pursue the Provider or others directly, possibly outside the United States.
- Instant Buyback may be unavailable. The offer is time-limited, available only to the pulling Wallet, and may be suspended or changed. After the Buyback Window, you may not be able to sell the Collectible through the Collect Service.
- Blockchain and Wallet risk. Collectible Tokens depend on Solana, smart contracts, and your Wallet and private keys. Bugs, outages, hacks, lost keys or mistaken transfers can make a Collectible Token, and your claim to the Collectible, inaccessible or lost.
- Service changes. Moonshot’s integration with Jupiter or a Provider may end. If it does, you may need to use the Provider’s own site to access your Collectible Tokens, Instant Buyback, the Marketplace or Redemption.
12. Third-Party Names and Marks
Names, brands, characters and logos of the franchises, manufacturers, leagues, teams, players, grading and authentication companies and Vaults that appear in the Collect Service are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to identify the Collectibles and the companies involved. Moonshot, Jupiter and the Providers are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by those owners, unless we expressly say so.
Pokémon® is a registered trademark of The Pokémon Company International. Moonshot is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Game Freak, or Creatures Inc.
13. Disclaimers, Liability and Disputes
13.1 Disclaimers. The Disclaimer of Warranties and Conditions section of the Terms of Use applies to the Collect Service. Without limiting it, Moonshot makes no warranty about any Pack, Pull, Collectible, Collectible Token, Odds, Insured Value, Instant Buyback, Marketplace listing, Vault, insurance or shipment. All of these are provided by the Provider and third parties.
13.2 Limitation of liability. The Limitation of Liability section of the Terms of Use applies to the Collect Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moonshot is not liable for any act or omission of Jupiter, a Provider, a Vault, a grading company, an insurer, a carrier or any other third party. This includes their failure to deliver a Pull, honor Instant Buyback, complete a Redemption or protect a Collectible. Nothing in these Collect Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13.3 Indemnity. The Indemnification section of the Terms of Use applies to your use of the Collect Service, including any breach of Section 4 (Eligibility and Restricted Jurisdictions).
13.4 Disputes with Moonshot. Any Dispute between you and Moonshot about the Collect Service is governed by the Arbitration Agreement and the governing-law and venue provisions of the Terms of Use.
13.5 Disputes with Providers. Claims between you and a Provider or Jupiter are governed by the Provider Terms, which may include their own governing law, arbitration and class action waiver provisions. Moonshot is not a party to those claims.
14. Suspension and Termination
14.1 We may suspend or end your access to the Collect Service, or to any Pack or feature, at any time, including if we believe you are ineligible or have breached these Collect Terms. The Provider may also do so under the Provider Terms.
14.2 If the Collect Service ends on Moonshot, or your access ends, your Collectible Tokens stay in your Wallet. Your rights under the Provider Terms (including storage and Redemption) continue, and you may exercise them through the Provider directly. Instant Buyback may lapse if its Buyback Window closes in the meantime.
14.3 Sections 5.6, 6, 7.4, 8.2, 10, 11, 12 and 13 survive any termination.
